The bold, contemporary apartment building soaring over the Colorado Convention Center, named “The Spire” is the recent addition in high-rise living of Denver, and the tallest condo building in the city. The slender vertical of the facade facing the convention center, extending over the top of the building demonstrates the endeavor declared by its name.
The building is enfolded entirely by the structural, turquoise colored curtain wall disciplined by shiny vertical mullions and white horizontal parapets. Rows of balconies display its residential purpose, and extend the view over the city and the mountains from the interior out.
Two cubic pavilions placed on the wide podium hosting garages and utilities imply that the roof accommodates an active terrace, another place to get away from the city, and enjoy the city from.
